Vourvourou

Vourvourou is a small fishing village around rocky coves, where scattered bars and seafood taverns cater to summer resort guests. Sheltered, shallow-water beaches include Karidi, Afroditi and Fava while boat rentals offer easy access to swimming and diving spots off nearby uninhabited islands like Diaporos island. Hiking trails lead through inland pine forest and up the slopes of Mt. Itamos for sweeping views over the village and gulf.

Diaporos Island

Diaporos Island is an island inside Vourvourou’s bay and it has unique places like Myrsini beach, Kryfto bay, Peristeri island and lot of hidden beaches with brilliant landscapes. Also it is one of the best places for snorkeling to explore its underwater beautiness.

Mount Athos

Mount Athos is a mountain and peninsula in northern Greece and an important centre of Eastern Orthodox monasticism. It is governed as an autonomous polity within the Hellenic Republic. Mount Athos is home to 20 monasteries under the direct jurisdiction of the Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople. It has beautiful rocky sceneries across the peninsula and lot of wild nature to admire. But be careful, it is illegal to approach the land with a personal or a rental boat.

Blue Lagoon

Blue lagoon is a small bay between Diaporos island and St. Isidoros island. One of the most amazing spot at Vourvourou, with shallow and crystal clear water. Stopping there is not optional, it is necessary. It is a paradise on planet earth !

Kavourotripes or Portokali Beach

Kavourotripes is a beach south of Vourvourou and is a wonderful beach surrounded by rocks and beautiful pine trees. Crystal clear and turquoise water with sandy beach. A perfect combination !

Ammouliani island

Ammouliani, also known as Amoliani, is an island located in the Chalkidiki, eastern from Vourvourou. There is small complex of islands called Drenia islands with beautiful beaches making a special travel destination. A unique place known for its traditional village and its stunning view.
